Today DfT announced new funding for transport, with £10m to support community transport, £20m for a new green bus fund, £5m forLondonto retrofit pollution reducing equipment and £50m for a new Better Bus Area Fund. The £10m for CT is a repeat of the Supporting Community Transport Fund announced last March, and will be allocated to local authorities by formula. The allocation for NY from the earlier fund was £416,000, precise details of this new allocation will be notified to Local Authorities in the New Year.
